Up to 52x better absorption than standard Curcumin
This study examines a new turmeric formulation, CURCUGEN, designed to enhance curcumin bioavailability, as curcuminoids in turmeric typically have low absorption rates. In a study comparing CURCUGEN to standard curcumin (C-95), CURCUGEN showed significantly higher bioavailability: 16.1 times more free curcumin in peak concentration and up to 52.5 times higher for total curcuminoids. This increased bioavailability indicates CURCUGEN may provide more potent health benefits, such as anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects, than traditional curcumin supplements.
