What is Flex and what are the benefits?

Flex is our trusted partner that makes it easy to pay with your HSA or FSA. It verifies your eligibility instantly at checkout and applies your FSA/HSA discount on the spot—so you save money without lifting a finger.

How do I pay with my HSA or FSA card?

At checkout, select “Flex | Pay with HSA/FSA” as your payment method. Then enter your HSA or FSA debit card just like you would any other card. Done!

Why was my HSA/FSA card declined?

The most common reason is insufficient funds—since HSA and FSA cards function like debit cards, they can only pull from your available balance.Another common issue: subscription items in your cart. Flex only works with one-time purchases, so make sure your cart doesn’t include any subscriptions.

I’m trying to use FSA/HSA but it keeps switching to Shop Pay?

If you’re being redirected to Shop Pay at checkout, try one of these solutions:

  1. Remove any subscription items from your cart—only one-time purchases are eligible for FSA/HSA and required to activate the Flex option.
  2. Try checking out in an incognito/private browser window to bypass any saved checkout preferences like Shop Pay.

Are all Pals products eligible?

Yes—all of our supplements are FSA and HSA eligible. Just make sure you’re checking out with one-time purchases only. Subscription items will make your entire cart ineligible for FSA/HSA payment.
